'Supernatural' to me means something that is 'above natural' - I was saying that another plane of existence or 'parallel universe' are all ideas that the scientific community has discussed at one time or another, so aren't 'supernatural' ideas. And sure, like any belief it shouldn't be allowed to rule one's life. Personally I don't object to the thinking there might be sort of spiritual guide, but the main thing is to not let it rule your life.
