I think this video shows us how the world sees the church. I was really sad when I first saw this.
It would be better if the image the world was getting of the church was the image of God.
I’m sorry you don’t see Jesus from the church. If you read the bible you’ll find Him there.
Jo - Point one: Yes, it is how the world (well Australia it isn’t well known outside Aussie) sees your church. I don’t think you need to feel sad though - maybe you could lighten up a little?
Point two: Not quite sure what point you are making here but I do agree that the church is more concerned with making money than any other purpose, but your particular church isn’t alone in that respect.
Point three: Don’t feel sorry for me please - you have an odd belief in a ’sky-god’ that is certainly shared by many others. That doesn’t make it correct - it just makes it a popular belief. So is astrology, it doesn’t make that correct either.
I advise you to take a good look around this earth and think more rationally whether your views actually ‘fit’ in this day and age. They made sense a few thousand years ago when people knew very little about how the world worked, but not anymore. Civilisation is beginning to grow out of such childish beliefs - maybe you will get there one day, I really hope so. Peace.

Point 1. Hillsong is not my church, I am not invovled in the prosperity doctrine.
Point 2. Hillsong church is known all over the world.
Point 3. I dont feel sorry for you. I am simply sorry that you dont see Jesus in the church.
Point 4. I have a relationship with Jesus and read my bible. When a person has this relationship with the one true God nothing can persuade them that He doesnt exist.
Point 5. One day every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
Point 6. You may deny it now but you wont be able to deny it when you stand before Him and give account for your life.
